Evan grew up in Brandon, Mississippi and attended Pearl Public Schools from K-12, where his mother was a music teacher. After graduating high school, he obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS where he was an officer in his fraternity and various academic organizations. After graduating from Millsaps, Evan obtained his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, Evan interned with the Hinds County DA Office, the Mississippi Legislature, and helped manage the re-election campaign of a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. These internships were in addition to internships at law firms in both Jackson and Pascagoula, MS. After graduating law school, he was immediately hired by Porter|Malouf, P.A. where he opened and ran a satellite office for the firm in Greater New Orleans until founding LANGSTON & WEEMS, PLLC.
Evan is licensed and practicing in all state courts in Mississippi and Louisiana. He is also licensed in all Louisiana Federal Courts. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar and the Louisiana State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice and the Mississippi Association for Justice (formerly Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association), where he serves on its Board of Governors.
